2019 RIDE Saturday
2019 RIDE Saturday
The Twin Hybrid Rocker ensures that it will hold an edge and power through turns riding switch or regular thanks to a camber zone sandwiched between just enough rocker in the nose and tail for deep snow performance. Carbon Array 3 laminates in the tip and tail combined with Linear Carbon running from tip to tail to give you quick response edge-to-edge for playful freestyle feel that the only thing you’ll be cracking in the cold will be celebratory beers in the parking lot after a successful day of snowboarding, so leave the boys at home and spend a weekend with the Saturday.
Board Type: Park and Groomers
Camber Type: Twin Hybrid Rocker
A mix between camber and rocker that gives you the stability for hard carves with plenty of pop, and the rocker gives you extra float in deep snow.
The medium response is stiff enough to be responsive and stable at speed, but has enough flex to stay really fun in the park.
The Saturday has a twin shape, so it will ride exactly the same switch as it does regular.
Core: Performance Core
Sustainable Aspen wood combined with Bamboo and Paulownia for a snappy lightweight board that balances weight and strength perfectly.
Base: Sintered 4000 Base
A tough and reliable base material, that doesn't need much maintenance.
Slimewalls: A RIDE exclusive, incorporating Urethane sidewall technology to absorb impact and make for a smoother ride. These are also the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding, meaning you can really thrash them, and they will hold their own.
Roll In Slimewalls: Fiberglass structures that surround the built in Slimewalls to increase durability, including top sheet chipping, and keep the weight down.
Hybrid Glass: A combination of Triaxial and Biaxial give the perfect degree of flex and stiffness. The result is a board that better handles speed.
Carbon Array 3 Laminates: 3 Widespread carbon stringers gather rider input, which is channelled through to the opposite contact point for maximum board control. Basically, it distributes power throughout the board for a steady ride, no matter how you set up your stance.
